I jumped into the business of real estate after several of my own transactions—including building a home, purchasing a resale home FSBO, selling a home with an agent, selling my home FSBO, and purchasing resale homes with agents!
My most recent personal experience before I became an agent was as an unrepresented buyer buying a home with a represented seller. It didn't take me long to recognize that no one had my back to advise me or to make sure my best interests were represented. I was being taken advantage of by the other agent and didn't even know it. It is no surprise that it became my mission to help other buyers avoid having that kind of experience!
